This is a supplemental kit for performing all the Microscope Labs in The Apprentice's Companion for General Biology curriculum. All the prepared slides are included. Save time with this kit!

Important Notes:

All slides, prepared and plain, and specialty chemicals are included in this kit to perform all the microscope activities in the curriculum (Activities: 3,7,15,19,20,22,23,24,26,30, & 33).

A microscope is required and must be purchased separately. Microscopes recommended by Novare: MI-4100LST and MI-4100LXL. 

Live cultures (Activities 7, 19 & 20) are not included and must be purchased separately: Elodea (Anacharis) LD-ELODEA and Protozoa Mixture LD-PROTOZA. All microscope experiments can be completed with the included slides; however, the live cultures add to the experience. Please note: Live cultures are restricted to shipping in the US48 states. 

Due to shipping restrictions Ethyl Alcohol is not included but is required for Experiment 22. You can also purchase this product from your local hardware store.
